Chicks for the first Time

That done got huge they 3 time size of the other chickens,finally had to tell the kids what happen to them

I didn't even think about the tsc chicks. I read too many stories like that. I knew what breed I wanted and found a local breeder. I would eventually like to breed my own show birds.

I started just trying to make the kids happy, thinking this was a fad they been begging for chickens for 2years i promised them when we moved i het them once i hot the we enjoyed them so we end buying more

But the tractor supply chickens was interesting you never know what you gonna get

That be great for ya to show birds the birds at the show yesterday was neat they had some really nice birds

I love fresh eggsand meatbuti think chickens are beautiful and should be shown..

I kept changing out different things...First we started with a large plastic tub thicker stuff than a rubbermaid that my husband has for work and we were using for a toybox...then it was a large AC box, and then I saw the dog pen in the garage doing nothing and that got the wheels turning...so i brought it in and stretched it out into a rectangle sort of...it is larger on one end because I had to get it around the tv...and there wasn't space to make it an actual rectangle...Anyway I tied cardboard around the bottom about 4 or 5 inches up so the chicks can't scratch out all their bedding...and that is that. It's doing the trick much better than anything else, and it will be large enough to finish them until they are ready to go outside.

I wish I had one of those kennels. My six chicks have already out grown the tote they are in and I have nowhere else to put them
