I know SE, I tried doing the pattern, then would switch back and look at Wildsky's... It still dun look right. Where it says to chain 2 in between the clusters,... even tried it with my fatter yarn... guess I'll go to just chaining 1 between clusters.. I'll take a pic in a bit, see if yall can find my blunder? lol

But WE don't need to do that round..LC will do that round AS the joining. You lay two squares together back to back and do a row of sc and then flatten out the squares..the ridge/joining is done that way..wont work if we add a round of sc to our own squares. Ours should be 3 1/2" with NO sc on it at all. Poor LC will be ripping alotout otherwise!

You only need to chain two between the clusters of the corner sets, not the side sets, just one there or if you are using very loose stitches, none even..try again and see what you are doing. WHat size hook are you using? I had to go down to an F to make the size right that Vanna baby is fat yarn!
Sk mine dun look right. No where near looks right.

She is right SK
what size hook are you using? Me I used a J to do the square pictured I think SE is using a G and I believe so is Wildsky. The hook you use will be what makes your size. And as you see not everyone will use the same to gauge the size.
Just keep practicing you will get it. I know you can I know you can I Know You Can You Can

Opps sorry SE I guess I didn't remember you going to F hook.
