CROCHET BABY AFGHAN SHOWER PROJECT signups NOW OPEN & On Going

Here are the squares I will be sending, hope they will be ok. I have 13 small ones, they are 3inches. 3 are the log cabin design. And there is 17 large ones, they are 7 inches. 3 solid yellow, 4 pink that have rainbow filet done, 3 solid purple & 7 avarigated with the filet star pattern.

This picture shows the star & rainbow better.

If they will still work, I will get them out this weekend for you. Or I can just send the little ones, just let me know.

Ok, I am in trouble here with the booties. I tried a size H hook and then went to a G hook, still coming out six inches long??? What am I doing wrong here? By the time I get in 25 chain stitches it looks like a toddler could wear them...and they could! Is it a different type hook? Like one of the metal ones?? HELP PLEASE I am getting frustrated here.

Carrie, 6" long will be better than those teeny little munchkin ones I made!! They were way too small I thought, make yours a bit bigger, I would use a bigger hook than they suggest if I did them again. That really isn't as big as you think and some people have big ole roly poly babies anyway!!

Oh I'd guess it around 84 to get a decent idea...lol
