Desperately Trying to Hatch Ducklings

This is a video I took of them in the bath last night! It’s such a cute little video! Near the end one of the babies gets up and flaps his tiny wings and that’s my absolute favorite thing they do, so funny and adorable.

Ahhhhhh I am soooo excited right now!! I’m so happy for you !! I just looked at the pics and video omg they are so so cute I love them so much. I was thinking of you all week I moved two weeks ago and my new house I cannot get WiFi yet so I haven’t been on here. You must be having the time of your life you hatched so many ah!! <3

Took all night and I stayed up with him until I could put him with his siblings and the last baby just hatched! It’s a real miracle. When my babes got taken from me I lost so much hope and these ducklings restored it. The happiness I have Right now is beyond amazing. Now I need any and all tips on building an awesome noeneteabke fortress for when they move outside!!!! I’ll build them a castle if I have to!

My babies are growing in their wings now!! They’re still inside because I’m still working on making the safest hutch known to man. Was wondering what fruits and vegetables are ok to feed them? They LOVE their meal worms but I just ran out and now whenever I shake anything they think it’s theje special treat and all come up to the side of their bin and silently wait to be fed, it’s adorable. Are tomatoes ok? Corn? Peas?

I’m driving my ducky eggs home right now to put in incubator lol so I’ll be re reading your whole thread these next 28 days. I don’t have WiFi yet at my new house so it stinks I haven’t been able to get on here more

Also I’ve noticed as they’ve grown sometimes they look like they’re panting for no reason. And nothing happens they’re just panting. Is this something anyone has seen before

My male painted a lot when he was a baby I was always worried. They do that when hot supposedly but he did it when I’d be holding him too not just under heat lamp. As long as they have water I think they’re fine but I’m sure an expert can tell you for sure

I don't think it takes much for them to get hot. Their little bodies are pretty warm already.
