I have a question... not advice... but if the twins could be suffocating and could die would it be a bad idea to try to open the egg up and see if they can absorb the yolk from that point on? If they're not going to hatch on their own for sure would that be better than just leaving them in there?

The egg is open enough to find one twin, I moved it’s beak and it didn’t even flinch. No movement, no breathing movement, they’re both gone.
