Winters eyes lit upon Thornspurs. She conducted a cursory preen, then walked up to her.
Dove spotted Rose and walked to her. "How are you feeling?"

Stripe hopped down from the branch, flapping his wings. "So, since Shadowfoot and Stone (@ChickenCowboy02) seem to be missing, can I train with you today?" He asked hopefully. "Maybe Peck can come too, since we have the same trainers."

Thorn Spurs noticed Winter walking up to her. She finished preening and eyed the hen. "Yes, Winter?" She asked politely. "Is there something I need to know?"

Rose shrugged. She look at the bald spot on her shoulder. "My shoulder hurts a little, but not too bad." She clucked.

River preened her feathers then glanced around "Tiny, Fast, yesterday you showed some amazing fighting moves, I want to get a early start to sharpen those skills."

Tiny looked frustrated. "I know you're fond of us, River, but you don't have to be so overprotective." Her eyes softened, "River, you are the closest thing to a mother I have. But you have to understand that Goldenfeather is only doing what will make his flock stronger." She puffed out her chest, "Me and Fast can handle it."
Fast looked at his sister, impressed at her speech. He realized she was right, he often thought of River in place of a mother.

Tiny was about to say more, then Fast nudged her and she realized they were back at camp. They roosted on a different branch then River and Tiny was disappointed that they couldn't finish the discussion.

"Sure! Dove won't mind... Where is Dove?" She looked around for her surrogate mother.
Winter breathed deeply, then began. "Might it be a good idea, in retaliation for the attacks of Claw flock, to launch an attack on their home camp?" She said quickly.
Dove nodded and moved on to Cloud, who was surrounded by her chicks. "You look well cared for. How are you feeling?"
