Water district opened up the gates at the lake, and filled the River with standing water. Making for thriving mosquitoes.

Lulu went against Maggie's advice and went to aother nest box. I think she has used a different box for each egg. She also went back to laying a tiny egg (32.5g/1.1oz).
Nobody sang (not even Lulu).
I think the hawk is getting on everyone's nerves circling round and round all the time.

That's awful. I'm sorry they did that to you.

They had to drain the lake down, so they could work on the overflow and bypass channels at the lake. Lots of new concrete diversions being built. It’s part of the California emergency water drought situation. (Ahh, what’s a few mosquitoes in the way of progress?)
