I like the idea, too.Mix n matching is a great idea because it will support the vet you like in expanding her expertise.
Oh, please, please, please! I hope so! You are overdue for some good chicken news!Normal roosting order has returned to the Chicken Palace. Maybe Lulu is feeling better after her off-label worming!View attachment 3233818
Oh no, Kelly. I hope you start feeling better soon. Was Alex joking about COVID or could you really have it? I had it end if April and early May and was just about as sick or sicker than I had ever been in my life.I am missing my babies, my cameras are still down as I have been so miserable today I didn’t get around to fixing the network issue to the barn. I could barely get the horses fed and watered.
I can barely type this… and I can’t pay my taxes- sorry Bob.
I almost asked my mum to go out and take photos. I think I will soon drag my butt out there and do the horses for the night, and put everyone to bed for the night.
Well covid, flu.... Whatever it is I sick, thanks for askingOh no, Kelly. I hope you start feeling better soon. Was Alex joking about COVID or could you really have it? I had it end if April and early May and was just about as sick or sicker than I had ever been in my life.

Oh thanks! I will try that next time, when I get on hands I use mineral oil to break it up. But I was so sick and ill I had no patience and just hacked a chunk if hair off hahaha.FWIW, sticky ANYTHING, including sap in hair is a simple fix: olive oil. Work it into the area the sticky is in. Keep working it around. It has the lowest flash point of all the cooking oils so thins out at the lowest temps (body heat and/or a hair dryer), making it thin enough to work into extra fine hair and get under the sticky. Wash it out with soap/shampoo. (Even works with lice eggs....although a tea tree oil shampoo is better for washing out the oil at that point). Dunno how well that would work on feathers.View attachment 3233865Littles aren't so little and are getting exploring in. Maizie and Pippa are almost as big as Twirp. Caught Kren going around the far side of the house last week, through the hedge on Saturday and on the deck this evening (NONE are allowed on the deck: Castor needs safe places to retreat to)
I just said the heck with it and left it. I am officially addicted to the barn cam hahaha.Just feel the need to point out that while I am sure you are brilliant at this, probably someone else could climb a ladder and fiddle with Ethernet cables.

You are not whining. We all get low at times that's reality.Well covid, flu.... Whatever it is I sick, thanks for asking.
I am leaning towards influenza as the symptoms are exactly what I get from flu. Starts with headache, then the 'careful cough' next fever body aches, vicious headache, then seriously evil sore throat (which started tonight), and more serious cough (which also started tonight).
I had been taking my Tylenol 1s, but went to Aleve, as it worked better and longer of headaches and achy body. Aleve is great but I can't take more than a few doses before it starts to bother my stomach.... On the up side my back is great with the Aleve hahaha!
Now I am just waiting for it to kick in here, my barn cams are still down so I can't see the horses and chickies darn it! It's official I am addicted to the barn cam
Tax for Whining
Screenshot from the barn cam a while back, looks like Curly sleeping with her head Hany down
