I took a swig of cough med with menthol in it and almost fainted from the burning pain!!!

My poor chickies are so desperate to get outside, but my mum gave them spaghetti and some corned beef

Maybe try some soothing yoghurt?

yes. However, yours are young - so they are probably still dropping their juvenile molt, and getting their adult feathers. (they molt a couple of times as they grow. If you notice, the feathers now are bigger (longer) than their first set of feathers. If they had the wing feathers they have now when they were only two weeks old, the feathers would have been bigger than them!!!

Another good day for Lulu even with her anemia and wonky liver function.
I do hope she is truly over whatever it was. She hasn’t laid an egg since she became poorly - which is fine by me except that it suggests that she isn’t fully back to health.
