Awww great taxMy Dad and I installed one of those back in 1984. It is amazing. We made like a big coal bin in the basement and just chicks it in through the door. Saved so much time and mess. Glad to see you have one!
I think we may owe Woodstove taxes

The thing I don't get about killing these things is why that would help? There are plenty more in the vicinity and they will just move in to replace the one I get rid of.Those you can kill legally. Just saying.
So no killing, got it. How about one of those squirrel things for your trees? You know the reverse cone so they can't climb them and steal the peaches. The thing I don't get about killing these things is why that would help? I did trap and kill a number a few years ago and it took less than 24 hours for new ones to replace them.

I think that would be good - but I will have to make it because the ones you see for sale are only big enough to go around a pole that supports a bird feeder. So no killing, got it. Bernie got the boot!7:30pm - Diana has her spot, but Bernie has taken Maggie’s spot. Looks peaceful enough.

8:00pm - perhaps not totally surprisingly, Maggie has her spot back.

And in between -
Hang it from a couple of limbs with some rope or twine.I think that would be good - but I will have to make it because the ones you see for sale are only big enough to go around a pole that supports a bird feeder.
I haven’t seen one for trees.
I have to figure how to fix it to the trunk without damaging the tree. I could probably make it out of a roll of aluminum flashing - I have some in the barn I think.
