Way behind again so I'll read backwards. My interview with Blue Bell creamery went well so I'm praying for an offer soon. Lety started working nights so I barely see her during the week. Today's her birthday so I cut out early from work so we could have cake and ice cream 🥳
Happy birthday Lety! 🥳🎊🎉

Someone at the CDC thinks Back Yard Chickens are the biggest health risk outside of Covid. It is insane the number of alerts they release on the danger of Back Yard Chickens.
(Somebody at the CDC was chased by a rooster as a child ! ) chickens are not the problem, CDC, your fear is the problem!

I’m honored by this, thank you Bob. That means very much to me.

Ive been sick and sleeping all afternoon. Im saddened by Elizabeth. She is a very distant cousin. (Family tree) Hubby went to do the shopping. Chickens are done. And I read the forum backwards to catch up. My stomach hurts hubby is getting me soft food like yogurt.
I hope you break through this soon and start feeling better soon.

I think mice and birds nests are dealt with. Smells fine.
Wasps above kitchen door are going into a space between the roof shingles and the rest of the roof structure. So no chance to take it down.
I tried spraying up in the crevices last night and I don’t think it has made any difference. I think I am going to don as much hazmat protection as I can create and after real dark go up a ladder and puff the dust under the shingles. Wish me luck.
The deck is really tricky. No access. It has a roof covering so wash off is not a huge issue. They are really aggressive those ones (the ones over the door seem to ignore me going in and out but the deck ones were really not happy with me being there). I can see a small gap where they come and go. I think I could puff dust into that crevice. Again, safer after dark.
At least Maggie benefited from the baby mice. About the size of my thumbnail.
You could place some dry ice over the spot on the deck after you powder them. That's how i got rid of the last ground dwellers, which are likely to be yellow jackets.
