It does seem to be working out that way. I will say my last three not so much. Sydney, Sansa, and Phyllis did not bond.
I suspect part of it was the overall tribe dynamics at the time, and two fairly strong willed (but not laid back) individuals, and Sydney who is fairly laid back...but also strong willed/independent (i.e. don't push her into a corner.) With these three, Glynda is striving for control/power, LF is fairly laid back and 'cohesive', and Gucci doesn't want to be left behind, but is not at all looking for power.

Maybe that is a better way to put it. You only have 1 power broker in this group - you had 2 plus one who wasn't going to be ordered around in the other group.

Aren't they just such fascinating creatures?!

Well, that's experimental proof for sure 😃 I'm going to try that stuff in a few weeks with our last tomatoes and I'll let you know if the experience is conclusive 😂
My local vegetable supplier has brought me an array of various tomatoes, I can't eat store bought they make me ill but his green tomatoes are lovely
First, on the bumblefoot subject. In the village I live in people usually have their chickens in very old stables or sheds. Roosts are often very high (think more than seven feet) so chickens need to fly, but they are also made of very coarse materials, with old ladders, and I haven't noticed bumblefeet cases. (Ok maybe I wouldn't see it, but I've noticed for example a high number of SLM).
I think the environment is only one of the cause and that chickens, like humans, can be prone or not to getting feet infections.
I'm wondering if our nasty slimmy slugs that we have in an abundance maybe one of the causes of bumble foot as well as infected crops.
I think people must have grown up in such an environment as yours to be able to live there. I don't think I could do with both the cold and the short day light hours. I'm already getting depressed seeing how everyday is shorter than the one before! I would have loved to visit Canada for a few months though. I suppose the chickens who thrive in such temperatures are also chickens who grew up in that environment.
I wonder also, if there are homeless people in the cities and how do they survive ?
Personally I'm relieved the weather here is cooler. I know it will be extremely hard keeping my girls warm with no way of getting a electric set up

The sad part for cold weather here is our homeless people they have suffered dreadfully :( that bothers me hugely.

Each year there are deaths. It's so unfair with so many privileged people in our country that have not one thought in their minds too help them. Even people around where I live look down on them with no empathy for what they are suffering...

It sickens me that the government don't even mention helping them not even in the harshest of winters

It would be amazing if a little of the vast lands that are owned by the rich was given to help those so desperately in need. 👑
Our context is very different but we also need to haul away trunks from places that are very difficult to access. We use our track barrow most of the time. If we can't reach the exact place where we need to get the tree cut down, we can at least come as close to it as possible. But it is motorized, so I guess it would not be allowed in your case.
I think it's a lot of work if you're only allowed to cut dead trees as they burn much faster 😬.

formally:
  1. Pronounced /ˈraʊtər/

I simply did not know that... I only knew router as a device related to internet. Still learning English after spending 15 years in the US.
It is pronounced differently (r-ow -ter. Emphasis on the 'ow' part.
Pronounced /ˈraʊtər/

router

I didn't find the word origin, but suspect this router has maybe Germanic influence??? Versus British/English influence for the 'route' for traffic, which is where, I believe, the 'router' regarding internet derives from. again, I didn't find references to word origin, though, so it is only a guess.

It is kind of like 'lead'. Can be meant as in 'lead a horse to water' or can be used/meant as in the metal lead. Same spelling but different pronunciation.

I am having my third interview with Blue Bell Creamery tomorrow. This will be with their automation department and will hopefully be the clincher. I have been praying for this opportunity for years now. Prayers or positive thoughts are appreciated 😊
Oooh exciting! I am sure you will blow them away - have fun with the interview.
