About twice a week I have been giving the chicks little tastes of something new. Scrambled eggs, oatmeal, crushed crackers. Well tonight we had leftover lasagna so I cut it up into small pieces and gave em a little. They loved it of course but what I noticed was Pecan (baby roo) was tid bitting the girls! He would take a piece lay it down in from for the girls and use his beak to push it towards them and peck at it but not eat it. I didn’t expect to see this behavior so young. Had to share as I found it adorable. :love
He's a gem!

Heart was for your beautiful hen, not for Covid nor idiot gov. Actually, lock-downs do have a few specific valid uses. For example (if only people would adhere to it) it is legitimate to do this short term to keep something contained until adequate supplies (think medical - both equipment and protective gear) can be made/mobilized. That said, any long-term lock down is pointless in this day and age because all it takes is a few people who are carriers to break lock down and it is no longer contained. Especially a global society that we have become. Plus, frequently, the virus is ahead of us in terms of containment (i.e. symptoms don't show until that person is not only infected, but contagious)

Covid containment & closures Tax:

@featherhead007 This one is for you: a 'fake' and a 'real' BR:gig
I just broke the one on the right...she was the one who kept breaking eggs ( probably my older girl's eggs whose shells are thinner), but wouldn't relocate. Was hoping she would stop on her own...but no... almost 4 weeks, I had to...brought her into the house in a crate for 2 nights.:( I hated to have to do it, but she wasn't eating enough. I promised her I would let her hatch next year if she would agree to set in a less public nest. She did reply ( a soft buk, buk buk) I'm hoping she understood🤷‍♀️😔'

They are not idiot government. They just know how to control people well.

So which one is the heritage BR? The one on the right? But I feel the one on the right has the more common look.
