Well, I will know tomorrow when the test results are back what Rosie has. For now she can go back to school Friday pending results. She was tested for strep, covid, flu and Rhinovirus. Strep is highly suspected right now though.

Oh that is good news!I forgot to mention that the bill was dropped! So for now, the feral are safe!!!! I'll try sharing more photos of the feral chickens in the future - they are all such beautiful birds![]()
I just love the historic picture. How darling. We had about 3 months at the beginning, in 2020 I got home from a project (was stuck out in AB from first march till end of June).
When I got home most stuff was open but limited occupancy. Then end of July 2020 all heck broke loose. Masks, everywhere, no in restaurant eating but could do take out…. Curfews no movie theatres etc couldn’t have any visitors in the home, though everyone I know did…
It wasn’t till this year April that almost all restrictions were eased. I still wore my mask due to my asthma, but in the end my 76 yr old mum gave it to me (thanks mum). Hahahahaha
Of course if it haven’t been for all this crap I wouldn’t have decided to get my chickies
BFTP
My 3 gals as babies Curly, Fluffy, and Henny Penny (before I knew they were gals haha), and the original first 2 - Roxanne l'oeuf Hen ( I was optimistic she was a hen... Nope!), and Stanley the Stallion Chicken (I knew he was a he!).

How awful!I cry everytime I see or think of Roxanne and Stanley and my stupidity for not keeping a closer eye on them.
They were both killed by a fox at the same time, I chased that little bigger into the bush to try to get Roxanne back but I couldn't catch him

The flu season is upon us. They said it would start early this year, they were right. Folks getting sick in our state, including me. Sick all last week and still coughing and blowing my nose. Tested twice for covid.. negative. We all got sick in the house of course. My daughter in law is pregnant, bless her heart, she's still coughing too. Thinking also.. school has started.. always gets things going.Well, I will know tomorrow when the test results are back what Rosie has. For now she can go back to school Friday pending results. She was tested for strep, covid, flu and Rhinovirus. Strep is highly suspected right now though.
BR’s understand. It only takes them a while to comply . Leghorns are much different!View attachment 3259228
Ha! Those are to expensive for me these days let alone for the chicks. Tuna I could try thoughNo lobster, or scallops, or blue crab? No yellowfin tuna, or steaks. (Just asking)?
I assume they will be ok. Scary though. The interview went well. I am super optimistic now. However, while I was at the interview two of our pups found a copperhead to play with and they paid a price.View attachment 3258749View attachment 3258751
