They are getting so big!!! Kids, they grow up so fast!

Why? What happened? It is a bumble bee isn't it? They can sting but rarely do. Apart from the queen, each individual only lives a few weeks I believe.

I just felt for the poor thing. She had a white furry belly and was rather large her sting pierced the tissue as I tried to lay her on some flowers.
I feel for most creatures but when it comes to fruit flies I become a fly serial killer

That’s why I diffused the whole situation. I packed up all eight of my birds, and they are at a ranch, other side of town. And after a very long conversation with my brother, I’m flying up to see him in Seattle for a few days. Linda from church, is watching over my house for now.

I'm both sad and really annoyed you and your animals have too cope with such selfish nasty people, no one deserves this

Oh me too! And this year was particularly bad for fruit flies.
I made traps all over the kitchen. I think they are mostly gone now.
