I only have 12 hens and seems everyone wants to go broody! Why I bet Mr Pompei would like to go broodyUmm, you have been reading the stories about my girls right? You've saw the pictures of the Momma's and babies as well? You did see where I told you 2 days ago Bunny went broody.....again this late in the year? Would you like to know how many of my current flock have yet to go broody at least once in their life not counting the new girls? 2, yes that is right 2. Daisy and Butter are the only 2 who have yet to go broody. The rest have either hatched multiple times or had to be broken up.
PTSD, yes, yes I have that and see potential hiding spots and broody girls everywhere.
Yes he is one lovely little fellaHe is a French BCM and OMG its bigger then he is right now lol. I think he will be gorgeous when grows up though.
They took right to it. I thought they would be confused and a bit scared like what in the world is this stuff… but nope they were just started pecking around looking for food like they had been doing it for years.Awww they look intriguing!
They are evil thingsIf we are still talking about fruit flies, then save your pennies because mesh won’t help the problem. I am fully meshed which works well for regular flies but not fruit flies.
They look fascinated by it allSome pictures of the babies first trip outside to see what grass is all about. They were much braver then I expected.
