Although some of my chickens, like Wendy, love to eat my rose pedals.

I never thought to offer them rose petals!

I have many rose bushes in the yard. Sometimes they hang out underneath. It is a good cover for them. They ALL love to jump up and get the leaves. However, when the flower petals fall, only some chickens love to eat them.

I have been dealing with some issues and was out of town for a wedding that is why for a week I really did not post. 7 days later I am over 70 pages behind.

The good news, I have worked it down to 20 pages at this point.

The bad news, there are many things to share but I do not know when I will catch up and I at this point I am pretty certain that I will no longer be able to keep up. I am not certain what I am going to do at this point but I wanted to pop in and let you know what has happened to me.

I pull rose petals off the roses that are almost gone by...and either feed it to them or dry them (aromatic ones) and mix with a few dried herbs when I have them, and sprinkle in nest boxes

Methinks there are a few breeds missing.....not to mention some color variants.....some beautiful breed examples there, though.

The tin can only be so big @rural mouse , or it will pull off the drywall it is hung on!

Yes, that is the problem with being such a great host - everyone loves your thread and likes to contribute, and appreciates your wonderful acceptance and the effort you take to acknowledge everyone and their posts.

I hope the integration is going well now that Phyllis's eggs are gone.....

It is not. Phyllis is a monster. Gucci is terrified of her. She tries to mount Gucci every chance she gets. It's not cool.

I might have to go into witness protection if he knew I took and then posted these. Bubba is also in the middle of his first big boy molt along with Branch. While I can only tell Branch is molting due to his body being a mass of pin feathers under his still full looking fuzz, Bubba is not so lucky. I think he knows he looks terrible. I was out with the camera earlier and he kept trying to hide and would not be still for a picture. I caught him sneaking around the front and took these while hiding in my bedroom. Thankfully everyone is now gorging themselves on the feather fixer so hopefully soon he will be back to his handsome self.

I think if I offered him a brown paper bag with eye holes cut out, he would gladly accept and wear it.
