I have the feed room / office heated so I can bring bald molting chickies in there if is too cold, in the summer the fan is going so it’s cooler there this again full of chickies - I spend more time cleaning up chicken doodoo in there….

I had left the door open and they helped themselves in. Nobody is sleeping inside right now.

Sears was a great place. I loved going to Sears for shopping, clothes, candy, and as I got older, tools and auto accessories!

They are smart! Happened to a friend of mine also, I guess I didn’t pull her old farm house door shut tight enough, it opened while we were out riding, came back to 14 hens roosting i the kitchen!!!

That was a very long time ago - 40 yrs ago and my first introduction to chickens and blue and green eggs
