Free rangeLots of other UK folk here. It may be the specific store I walked in to. Although the labels imply it is a nation-wide thing.

Awwww. poor Theo', Chipie has left him in the dust and moved onI thought the worse of molting was over for my chickens, but I was wrong. This morning the coop was covered in feathers ; an hour after coming out Théo had shed five of his beautiful long curved tail feathers. It's a good thing I took many photos of his bum yesterday because he'll be banned from Fluffy butt Friday for a while.
Have a nice Tuesday everyone !

So I'm getting halloween contacts black out and some others but I just thought of something. If demons and vampires have red eyes then chickens will poke their eyes out and kill them so vampires and demons should be afraid of chickens! Am I right? Im so morbid during my favorite time of year.
Ill put headlamps on the chickensFunny!
But you forget that demons and Vampires are out at night, when chickens eye sight is limited. (They can see some, but not really well, in the dark. Not enough to go flying at a vampire and peck his eyes out. )Too bad, too. We wouldn't need garlic covered stakes to ppoke into their hearts if chickens could!

Still pretty mild here so I am glad they are molting now. Nights near 60 and days in the 80s. Beautiful weather if it would just rain.I am hoping everyone is done now, getting too cold for going bald hahaha!
