Hi Valerie,

Yes, the dog pens look like this. You can get them at various heights: 24", 30", 4'. I have 3 that are 30" tall, and bought one that is 4' tall and separated it into sets of 2 panels each, and use those as covers for a couple of mine 30" ones (I attach them with small carabiners. It is dark now, but I'll try to get a pic tomorrow.
Oh thats so cool.

Update, just now 10:40 pm from my veterinarian: she did an ultrasound and other procedures on Chaco, there’s a blockage in her intestine and needs to have a scope inserted in her belly. Also the test found sand in her abdomen (I never heard of such a thing) :hit:idunno
Hope she is just bunged up like Truly was, we ha to give her fluids with a tube into her stomach and also give Diactol which helps break up the manure and soften it. No feed for 3 days then start with a handful oh hay couple times a day then increase slowly over a few days. Took a week for her to recover. I spent every moment in the barn walking her so she wouldn’t roll on the ground and possibly twist an intestine.

Sand in the stomach is more common than you think. They pick up sand when they are grazing or eating hay from the ground.

To help with this more grassy hay should be fed and soaked beet pulp. This is what I give my gals, they get soaked beet pulp twice a day. It comes as a pelllet form and your soak it in water (over night / all day I feed twice a day so I make the feed up twice daily).

Ok well sure hope she is ok.

Pony Sunday.

I'm really hoping for some good news from Chaco for pony Sunday 🤞💚.

Last week I went to see the two old horses that live on their own, for the first time in three months. I was a bit worried, but pretty sure they were still both alive as I would have heard otherwise.
I was glad to see they were doing fine, or not worse than the last time I saw them. They have a late pear tree in their place full of just ripe pears so I gave them some and had one myself.

This morning I went running and came upon See You's (the rescued arabian horse) owners herding their flock of sheeps. They said they have changed him pasture, and they will be bringing him down with the sheeps in a month or so, and then start feeding him grains. So I'm relieved he will be cozy for winter.
My neighbors cows are on this picture from this morning, but they are too far to be seen. I hope it's still accepted for pony Sunday.
