I've mixed eggs and sardines together (thanks too directions from @Ponypoor ) then I just finger fed princess in as a similar feeding action as I could to a mother bird feeding her young.

She's eating really well now and I'm hoping her molting will cease soon.

Princess looks very good, I am happy she didn’t go bald like Dorothy!!!!!!!

They are way more fun and easier to keep (teeheehee - right @Kris5902 ).

You know sardines in a can. I luvs me sardines on my homemade toasted bred and so do the chickies - savage beasts hop up and steal it on me if I am not watching!

Anyways sardines is as good for chickies as for humans, protein, calcium, good fats …. Good eats!

I use the sardines in oil and because princess is molting I add a little more olive oil into their feed.

Oh same here I love all my chickens but I especially love the black and have black dogs and had a black cat.

Do you have a black truck? Does your house have a black roof? Are you thinking about giving me a black eye ?
