Maybe just needs to be outside - I had to do that with the old horse, she gets so wheezy inside the barn 🥺
What good is an outdoor rooster? He was raised as an indoor roo from hatch day. I gave him his freedom, and many ladies to court, but at night he gurgles in his throat (even in the coop) maybe he’s getting old? Maybe I should have studied avian veterinarian medicine! :barnie

Good night FBA, I'm a bit late and catching up on the thread. I wanted to post these photos I took on Thursday of the two abandoned horses for pony Sunday. I brought them some pellets ; I thought the male, Gribouille, seems to finally get caught by his old age (he's on the second picture next to the pipe). I must say they're happy with the abnormally warm fall we're having.

Thinking of Chaco today. Alex, I really hope the vet can help Jaffar.

And this is a picture from this morning - first time in maybe six months that we went together running with my partner 🤗

Hahahaha

Sitting here with the kiddos roaming about in the back, when my mother started calling for the cat and shaking a treats container….

Well! Blanche took off flying / running / flying up towards to house and then everyone took off after her! They figured my mum had some goodies for them! Too funny 😁

Do you have a sort of idea of how old he is?

I don’t know his age. When I went to get him, and he was in my arms, I didn’t care how old he was, or the missing toe, or his long overgrown spurs. I was in love with him immediately :love He didn’t have breathing problems back then (neither did I, come to think of it)

So likely over two, I would say wait to hear what the Vet says. Could be he just needs some meds to help him.

Feel better Jaffar ❤️
