And that my friend is how you are going to end up with surprise chicks next spring. I candled them, I was right, no broody hen. Just some very sneaky evil girls. I also now have to apologize to the yet unseen black snake that I was accusing of being a egg thief.

I hunt the barn almost every day, but haven’t seen any eggs, but I am sure they are there somewhere!

I have a lady coming over in 30 minutes. I’m okay with that, but I’m 60 years old, she’s 27. I will give her the butter and sugar, then she must go. My heart can’t handle much more than that. (I’m saving the eggs for Linda at church Sunday)

A pound of salt water taffy is my wish! But I’d settle for macadamia nuts, or butter toffee cashews.

Guess it’s Cinnamon Danish Cookies instead… then early chores and a night of watching Huntsman Spider videos

My neighbor down the road just asked me if I was interested in a 1/2 of a steer. yes I am, but I don’t have the freezer space. I’m calling everyone I know who might want some fresh beef. It’s only $300 bucks, and for that price, I’d be a fool not to take him up on that. I’m planning to pay more anyways. He’s probably hurting for money I can help!

You can buy another freezer. Fresh beef is such a treat

Couple weeks ago she came up to the barn, of course the chickens had to go a scare her all over again! Poor thing was traumatized by 13 squawking crazy chickens! Haha!
