In a camp there are different room styles

Shared bathroom between two rooms isn a Jack-n-Jill.

A regular room has their own bathroom but very small no microwave or mini fridge, may not even have a small desk area.

Executive room have a bigger bathroom sometimes a tub, and has room for a recliner, desk space and office chair, and microwave and mini fridge.
Why? Please forgive me if I'm asking a stupid question as I've no clues of the working conditions, but wouldn't the technicians and engineers have it harder being more often outside and on the pipes, and so more in need of confort between their shifts ?

Was ever thus!
I suspect that having their own kitchen may be less needed for the folk working the pipe as they probably would want to have food as soon as they are off duty. I certainly would.

If it is a 4 day drive - each way, that's not much time at home. Will you fly and be without ol'Blue?
Yes I fly home, I have a car at home Ol Bessie. I use her to boot around in when I am home.

Likely fly out of Grand Prairie; unless I can get a flight to Edmonton with the small local airport here in Manning - puddle jumpers. That way I only have to drive 2.5 hrs and I can fly on an earlier flight from Edmonton to Toronto. I lose 2 hrs going east so landing later at night and then getting a shuttle to my home an hr away is tiring.

I will need to get on this today as flights will start to be expensive now and might not get a time or day I want.

They are on a 14 day on 7 day off schedule so they get to go home. Where as the Management team is here for the duration. No going home for us.

Not to worry they are extremely well paid - far more than I make! Likely twice what I make.

Also for them their rooms are just for sleeping - where as I use my room as an office, like right now. Our office trailers have yet to arrive so I am 'working' (teeheehee) from my trailer. It's also a handy place to hold meetings with big-wigs, when the office trailers are not on site.

Yes they certainly wouldn't have time or energy or being guys don't want to cook! And the kitchen has a variety of foods for the younger guys (which is always fatty salty foods!).

It would be a waste for them to have a well-site.

Also the logistics and cost to bring up 400 well-sites would be extremely cost prohibitive, and the amt of surface land required to put 200 trailers would be crazy.
