I had quite a start tonight as well. I check the Hut and saw this.

I was getting ready to head out to find Glynda and decided to check the other camera. I found this.

That Lady Featherington is big enough to hide behind for sure.

Great minds think alike! I had the same thought and had to check the other camera to see her (I accidentally clicked on the flashlight when I was trying to exit and they didn't even move! but it gave me a technocolour image of how much fluffier Lady F is )

I was going to take a picture but see you already did

But when I checked in someone was snoozing by the main coop cam - not sure who it was though.

Good Morning!

I really find it interesting that Penelope can crow almost as well as Mr P. She only does it a few times when he first starts crowing in the morning, where as he just keeps going like the energizer bunny !

Has anyone else heard such a good crow coming from a hen? FYI - she is 7yrs old and was still laying an egg a week (she was never a heavy egg layer), until winter now seems no one is really laying.

That's always Hattie blocking the camera. All that snacking.

Still coughing! Managed to drag myself out yesterday to go shopping. Got soaked in the ice storm but it doesn't seem to have done me any harm - maybe it shocked the bugs right out of me.

Getting up and going out always make me feel better, initially hahahah.

My neighbour is out clearing the foot of snow off my truck - thanks buddy

Will have to make him some treats when I get back after Christmas.

Lilly was never able to crow like that. That is impressive for sure.
