I also worked with a guy named Jamie and for the longest time didn’t know that I was mispronouncing his name! Till someone told me it was pronounced “Hi-me” - and here I thought they were two different people!!

Apparently Spanish “J” is pronounced as “H” - who knew!

Merry Christmas everyone. Its 61° and I am in a t-shirt! Just a bit different after our Friday ice. I have spent the day cleaning and organizing and doing animal chores, maybe not traditional, but feeling accomplished. Family time tomorrow.

Was a bitter sweet xmas. My father in law. My only dad was here and got me rooster and chicken poop chapstick. But we just found out he has non small cell lung cancer stage 4. Its in his lungs and throat and other places. I went through the same thing with my dad.

A hen might die trying to hatch. If she becomes hypothermic she won't move - that's the warmest spot nearby, then can't. I do hope she hatches safely and is no worse for the wear, but I am very worried for her with these temps!

I am sure hoping for warmer temps.
