You would know.In the future, if necessary, you can do 1 of two things (or both)
1) GENTLY file with a nail file. only a little bit at a time. This will help smooth it and potentially keep it from splitting further if it is broken unevenly.
2) If it is also cracked, use a bit of superglue on the outside to keep it from splitting further ( it is painful if it splits up into the quick) When doing this, I suggest using a gel super glue as it is easier to control, and be sure to get it only n the beak. Using something to apply it with might be better than squeezing directly onto it, as if she squirms, in your efforts to keep her still, you might squeeze the bottle harder.
There is a 3rd option if they break the beak completely off so can't really eat - and that is make a prosthetic beak, but you would definitely need help attaching it will super glue...and you have to be very careful that you don't get super glue on any exposed quick - so not for the feint of heart.
