I really can't tell the size/height by this. Dog/fox like ears. Do you have Grey foxes in your area? They are a bit bigger and leggier than red foxes. I agree with Val, canine family, it looks like.
I once saw a grey fox when I was living a couple of miles from here but that was a dozen years ago or more. I agree it could be one of those.

And yet here I am almost feeling guilty that 2 months ago I had to raise my prices from 3 to 4 a dozen. Feed went up again, if it does not soon come down I will have to start charging 5 a dozen. I have no trouble selling eggs though, as soon as I list them they are gone within 24 hours.
You are cheaper than the market!

The free range farm lady near me is at $8 for a dozen.

When fixing a leaky roof, strip the old shingles off before putting on the new. Don't put new over old. You need to check the plywood under the shingles for rot/soft spots and fix those or the roof will keep leaking.
Tax.

Twirp is soaking in some sun...while I'm doing so on the rock above her

I decided that Silver, Thing, and PITA were all in need of some sun (they've been hiding from the boys). Walked into the coop, caught Silver, walked out and around to the south side. Put her down. She stood there...Hector poked his head around the corner and she bolted back inside. He grabbed, she turned into a screaming, bouncing, spinning ball of feathers. He let go; she scooted back inside. Total time 1.5 min.

Worked to catch PITA. Took her out to same location. She's squawking the whole way. Don't put the bird down don't put the bird down don't put the bird down.....she finally stops squawking, but the boys are still going. Staying in the sun, at least she's getting some. Boys finally stop squawking. Set her down. She got about 5 min before Kren found her and she bolted.

Thing was an easy catch. Outside....set her down, stay with her.....Hector's ladies come to join her. He comes by, move him off. Kren shows up, and she's gone.

Let's try Silver again.....she's more willing to stay out, including moving under the trees...10 min worth, I think.

Inside the coop, move thing off the nest boxes to the roost.

Wandered through the carport where I'd found some egg shells last night. Figured I'd better search the area thoroughly...

How in God's green earth did she get back there? Based upon size/color, Lark and/or Indigo. I did find some green and brown eggshells, but not back in there. @RebeccaBoyd it's not quite as inaccessible as Momma's hillside retreat, but they're doing it to me, too.

For those of you who may need a chick fix here you go.
Notice the only rooster she is comfortable with being around. That's my boy. They are of course not his, I checked them carefully when I brought them off the hill but he does not care. If there are chicks, he is the daddy.
Total cuteness overload!
