Diana survived the night. Her crop was empty this morning so she isn't blocked. Her poops overnight were a bit watery with good urates.
She ate a good lot of corn for breakfast but she isn't at all interested in being active.
I am going to make her some egg with sardines and some put some pine straw where she is choosing to hunker down so it feels a bit more cozy for her.
There was some hilarity from the young-uns while I was giving Diana her corn treat. I think they were expecting me to come up to the rafters with breakfast in bed!
It is great that she is eating! eggs+sardine=yummy

I hope she gets better, but if you feel like she may not, I think making her just as confortable and loved as possible is the best plan.
I agree with @BY Bob it's really a good thing that you have Babs and Elie now 💚. If Diana is indeed going toward the end, she made you a great gift choosing such a timing. And if she stays with you on this side some more time she deserves unfrozen corn and sardines and to sleep where she choses (as long as it's not really dangerous).
Glynda and Phyllis are the same size. Hattie and Lady Featherington are about the same size.

I think one of the things that subconsciously attracted me to the Polish is that they have the same lines, energy, and size as the leghorn and now the legbar. Check this out.

I'm a bit late to reply but I want to really thank you for posting those pictures. I didn't have Phyllis or Betty's size right at all because they look to have such long legs, I was thinking they were much bigger than they actually are.
I know I am and count my blessings that what seemed to be a major issue at first turned out relatively speaking to be minor. That horse has given me 2 scares. The first one was when he was just 21 months old and in the middle of a heat wave in summer when he had a mild colic then this one. I love all 3 of my boys, but Dirt is different. We have had him since he was practically a baby at 17 months old. He is the only horse that I have ever had help in raising or been around since they were that young. I remember when I could stand beside him while grooming him in cross-ties and he was so small his wither's fit perfectly under my armpit. I am not a tall person either at only 5'4". We all say he is my dad's horse. No he is my baby as well, I know his itchy spots. I can do anything with him except ride him. If dad is letting him pick after a ride I can walk out and let him see me. He will stop eating and try to drag dad to me. He wants the base of his mane scratched and I am all to happy to oblige. Once I get the go ahead from the dr's and am fully healed from my surgery I am going to try to ride Russ again. If he does not break my back into I will ride him frequently with dad on the trail. I have a goal, this summer if I can get back into the swing of things dad told me Dirt was ready and that I could ride him as well.
I can't say how happy I am that Dirt is getting better. I love your goal and I really wish it will happen.

wow, I so LOVE it. Hawk-like, is she staring at a mouse? (hope not) or she is just stretching while patiently waiting for her breakfast in bed...
I have no idea what she was doing. The new game is a sort of high wire act flitting from rafter to rafter.
I think she changed her mind about going to the next rafter mid hop but the momentum carried her forward so she sort of splayed out to stop herself.
Right after she got up and flew down the hill - it is a big drop - maybe 15 or more feet but with a nice long runway.

Yes. As long as she is inside the Palace she should be safe.
I wish she had eaten a bit more but she clearly enjoyed what she had and is now resting in a patch of sun.
I can’t figure anything specific wrong with her - though she does feel a bit skinny. Honestly it just looks like old age even though she is only four years old. Well, very nearly four.
Here she is after her breakfast.
Oooh - as I was uploading the picture she went back for more blackberries in Kefir. 🥰🥰
In an hour or so I will bring out blueberries and tomato in Kefir with some more sardine. She LOVES blueberries.
