Kelly, I’ll trade you illnesses. My blood pressure is 189 over 102 at the moment.

I sure hope you are seeing a doctor to fix that. High blood pressure is not to be messed with.

Thank you by_bob for telling him! I know I am a worry wart but I have had enough drama this week 😢

Marty says thanks also!

Ya he was an awesome old horse - I cannot to this day think of him though without crying.

And smiling 💕 ❤️
Crying and smiling is how you know you have made it past the grief to the bittersweet memory stage.

I got a knee scooter when I went through my non bearing period and omg I don't know how I would have managed without it. If they will not give you one Amazon has them and they often are available on ebay. That and a walker. Crutches are evil devices imho. There are better options! Glad you have a date for your surgery.
We already ordered a knee scooter, should be here tomorrow. It will help a lot, but doesn’t solve the challenge of getting up and down the stairs. Especially with no bannister to hold on to.

Steps into trailer:

I"m so sorry it is taking so long to get it fixed. :hugs :hugs :hugs My one experience with that was by the time the ambulance got to me and got me to the ER, I was told that I did need surgery, but that it was far too swollen to do it then. They booked me out 2 weeks - but at least I had a 'proper/real' cast on it. Do try to be very careful until you get the surgery done. Hopefully the pain levels are tolerable - but I know full well that if there is any movement, it can be unbearable at times.:hugs:hugs:hugs

You will have to have hubby bring you in a 'lap chicken' once you have surgery and are feeling up to it!❤️❤️ Maybe you will find that one of your girls enjoys watching TV with you, like Jaffar & Alex, or Branch & Rebecca!!:confused:🥰
I have a feeling he will draw the line at bringing a chicken into the trailer. But maybe after my post-surgery visit in a few weeks we can get me into my office building and bring one in for a little while.

Wow - now I have a whole new reason to be scared of horses!
I can't even imagine how a horse could get in a pick-up truck.
In Mexico they frequently haul horses in the back of pickups instead of trailers. I had friends with two horses from Mexico and you had to make sure neither one was nearby when you opened your tailgate or they would hop right in.

I am hanging in there. Thanks to everyone for their kind thoughts.

Tax (they’ve grown so much since last spring!)
