That comb!Other than "the eye", I like it when my chickens do this.
I call it "brace yourself".

I was going to say that! What type of chicken has that floppy comb? That comb! It’s so floppy!!
LeghornsI was going to say that! What type of chicken has that floppy comb?
Some have extremely floppy ones like BY Bobs, others are very straight, i think it depends.Really? I thought my parents raised leghorns.
I know they and their eggs were always white. But I don't remember floppy combs.
Of course, that was when dinosaurs ruled the earth.
I'm sure @BY Bob will tell me! Please? Some have extremely floppy ones like BY Bobs, others are very straight, i think it depends.
I’m very confident those were Leghorns in the photo but i could be wrong!
Aww they are adorable. Way to go little Peep, congrats on becoming a daddy. Here you are!! (There are four, barely taller then a quarter!) View attachment 3411919View attachment 3411920
@Ponypoor , you asked if i had any other chickens besides Japanese bantams, i have a black sex link and a Easter egger cross as of now
That’s so sweet! I wish i could say the same about mine. Peep wanted to hop on my pillow so bad and eventually i gave in. The second he got on he pooped.Branch was inside for almost 2 hours with the funny looking makeshift diaper on. He walked around exploring a bit before we had tv time. The little man did not need the diaper, when I took it off and put him outside it was clean and empty. I know he is good when he is on a towel about not pooping but I was sure he would potty while walking around. Nope, my good boy is potty trained when he has inside privilege's.
