I have found that the chickens (and horses) are far more hardy than I am! After all they have beautiful tight feathers and down to keep them warm, and a higher body temperature than we do. Coco (it is Coco right?) Looks very comfy and happy - do you think she is getting broody? I would love to see some Jaffar babiesI’m in the coop with Coco and Shenandoah, playing classical musicwhile they lay their eggs. It’s raining here now. Dixie is trying to feed her chicks but they refuse to come out. With Isbe there was instinct and she knew exactly what to do, but she’s clearly confused on some bits of mothering. She’s calling them out but nobody is coming and i think its day 3? I’ll probably remove her from the nest and put her next to some food.
