If the largest egg does not hatch don't be alarmed. I believe that egg is from Goldie and she refuses to let Stanley any where near her!! LOL I was hoping against hope that it would hatch, she's my biggest hen, and I'd just love to see what barred rock and buff orp would create.

More Chick #1

Mrs BY Bob obviously needed to see the chicks tonight. So I took her out and rustled Sydney around one more time. Still only 2 chicks. Chick #2 is very shy and I can't get her to come out for a picture. I got pecked several times trying to do so. Here is Chick #1 again.

I really am. They are so perfect. Stanley makes a pretty chick.

Water Dish

I'm taking @Shadrach advice to put a small water dish right by the nest box. Here is the dish I'm going to use.

I filled it with marbles and filled it with water to the marble line.

I elevated it and put it in front of the nest box that is home.

I thought I caught her moving a piece of shell on Broody Cam out of the corner of my eye but I wasn't sure. So to the coop I went.

There must be a baby under there somewhere!
