I am already familiar with Vital Farms. I had to buy some eggs this winter, while my son was home from college, and those are the only grocery store eggs I will buy. And only for him. The rest of us wait until the chickens come back into lay, which a couple of them have. When I buy real butter, I buy that brand, too. Pricey, but it’s worth it for the animals and my conscience. I still can’t wrap my head around why people think they should be able to buy eggs for a fraction of a dollar a piece with no regard for the chickens. And dairy milk… Mother Nature made cow milk to grow a darling little calf into a giant heffer. Do humans really need that? At least Vital Farms cows are truly pasture raised. Ok; I’ll get off my soap box now.If you go to their website and scan the carton of their eggs you bought it will tell you what farm they came from. It's a new way of being in touch with where your food comes from. I'm going to investigate them more.
