I do believe @rural mouse is in one of the few places almost as sparsely populated as Northern BC/Alberta! Lol. Saw a video explaining how there’s this section of the USA east of the Rockies that is nearly uninhabited, and why? Weather! so I’m also betting she stands the best chance of actually making it up there as well. We have several inches of the dreaded white stuff happening. I can’t see the ground outside anymore. I’m half considering migrating south myself! I mean it’s like 0c out there…

Oh no! I just thought - those Brahmas - they are going to need bigger boxes! And who knows about the other biel-a-thing-a-ma-bobbers! Another chore to do when I get home I guess.

Oh Bernie will be an awesome mama - she wont eat them haha. She will show them 'the way of the chicken' I am sure!

The Beilefelders are big, but not as big as the brahmas. If you have a couple of bigger boxes (say 14 x 14 inches) and a couple of smaller boxes (say 10 x 10), they may all lay in the bigger, you may find a big girl cramming herself into a smaller. They will have choices and make their own decisions....you will be shocked by some of them, but they'll get to decide.

Queen Aroura, if I may... How are my beard and muffs? I ate a whole spicy cake a few weeks ago for a Xmas present from Mom. It was splendid! She needed to help me because of my broken beak, but once she broke little pieces off, it was amazing!! Your Truly, and your biggest follower, Bolt

Oh.... that's a lot... ha, good thing I have six more years 'till I'm an adult!! Can you guys do math? I am planning on getting an intern at a vet office, and then probably getting a job a little later on.

That's going to require veterinarian medicine college education.....more school....

I think I will just make them all big - after all I routinely have those silkies gals all brooding together in one box hahaha!

I totally have to brag on my genius husband. I'm generally the more handy of the two of us when it comes to ways to think outside the box, but he had a moment of inspiration yesterday.

Our pop door has been made from particle board. It doesn't get too wet, but the moisture makes it swell and stick at times. I was cursing it last night and my husband thought of the perfect replacement.

It's a $10 cutting board from Walmart. The thing is sturdy, slick, and heavier than the plywood. It also fit perfectly! I never would have thought of it.
