Excuse the mess it was animals feeding time
I think my little one may have got upset when I examined her after she went to bed last night ,I looked this up, upsets can be the cause of tiny eggs sometimes with no yoke at all

She and Princess had egg this morning and I'm hoping this helps Tina. She's running around in between the rain fall so she seems happy this morning. Plus I think she's not laying much anymore but as long as she's not ill I don't care, my wish is for her to enjoy her life!

My great-grandmother lied about her age for so long that even her driver’s license had the wrong year for her birthdate. It wasn’t until she passed away and my grandmother found her birth certificate that we discovered she was about 6 years older than we thought (can’t remember the exact amount).
I love that!

keep getting Babs and Eli mixed up  but this pic does an awesome job of catching the green sheen on the feathers of whichever one that is.
What an invitation to post instructional pictures!!!

Here is Babs. She is brown and blue/grey with a black head. She has a very fluffy butt and an interesting feather pattern (maybe that is called lacing).

And this is Eli. She is black (as well as green and purple) with some gold flecks - some on her feather shafts, and others are lacing. She has a beard and muffs and is a cheeky photo bomber. She is also a little piglet and fearless in grabbing food and running off with it.

And feel free to muddle them up again as it gives me an excuse to post more photos of my Princesses!

That is good news! I do not believe Queen Aroura likes anyone who steps out of their place. She is very scary. Even my alpha hen, Splotch, is not as scary as here.
Here is a picture of my Splotchy Girl.
Splotch giving you the eye to stand in place and not to pet her. She is a Barred Rock + Black Australorp. Same breed as my roo. They hatched one day apart. Same dad, different mom. Dad was a Barred Rock, and a stunner. No wonder why his chicks are so beautiful in my eyes 😁

I would not mess with her either. She looks like a real lead hen. :thumbsup

Man I slept all day and night because I didnt feel good. Got up at 6 am. Feel much better this morning. I have to go in and get some blood work done. The dr gave me more antibiotics for my ears and I have to see the cardiologist, ortho and ear, nose and throat dr. Sooooo many drs. Soooo many issues.
Thank gawd for BYC.

Layers will slow down laying younger than other chickens. She may just have started to run out of them. Hopefully this means a long life for her. :love

This just helped me to realize how few photos you have been posting. It is unfair that you are hiding these beauties. Get with it! We need more photos.
