I will see what I can do. I'm limited to about 18 seconds by the email size limits. It is interesting that it seemed to make you less frightening to them.
I seriously don't understand the aversion to new foods.
Me neither.
I am optimistic about live meal worms because they do skewer bugs that wander by.

O my gosh! This chick thing is addicting. Welcome to the club! I'm going to need more updates! They are adorable. :love
Thanks :D Here's your update for now, you can finally see all four chicks! Lol
I gave them scrambled eggs today, mommy was ecstatic, chicks were cautious, haha.
They take a short bit to get used to new things, mommy helps speed that up. 20200630_092555.jpg
They are so incredibly tiny, bantam chicks are just so SMALL,
it's mind-blowing, in a very cute way :jumpy

Bombs Away

I was getting some pictures of Hattie and Aurora from a chickens eye view over the weekend and our favorite serial photo bomber showed up again.

I just gotta say, I love Aurora's adorable whiskery cheek puffs :D

Your Phyllis reminds me of my PomPom, same breed but different coloring!

This will sound weird, but I also love the weeds that grow up where you are!
Here in Florida the weeds are either ugly, spiky, viney, invasive, or all of the above

So absolutely adorable 😍

I bet you could find lots of sounds on YouTube.... sometimes I play roosters crowing for the gals just to see their reaction 😁
Good idea! The thing I notice is that Sydney talking to the chicks is a whole different quality of sound from the Princesses gossiping with each other. The chicks have been in the big coop from week one so they are very used to the sounds the Princesses make - but the sound of Sydney really brought them up short!

The chickens have really let the yard go this year. I used to brag on their ability to control the weeds. This group is a real bunch of slackers. 😆
