I’m going to have to shovel out all the wet shavings and replace them. Really need to be able to put them in the tractor bucket to dump, but don’t want to make huge ruts in the flooded pasture. Which means using a wheelbarrow, and doing it all by myself.

That is crazy! Please stay as dry as possible.

Waiting, waiting, waiting! The chooks have to perch sometime tonight.

When the horses come in, then the chooks come in the barn.l (Truly says so!). They are then allowed to go and roost when they want to.

At around 8 or 9 I go and check everyone for the night, feed the horses, and make sure the chooks are all in bed. Do a headcount and lock up for the night.
