Hello FBA, I haven't been posting. Here are some 3-week old pictures that I forgot to post.

Wendy (Inky butt again)

Wendy was hot. (But she has been healthy. There are still soft egg issues. I am not even sure if she is laying lately.)

Sun bathing beauties. (I think I've posted them before, but why not again)

This spring, Inky was broody May 1st to May 12th. This is pre-broody.

So glad to see Wendy up and about - I was about to ask how she was and you answered right away haha!

My apologies. I didn’t realize that you were monitoring the thread just now. :bow

See the extra legs under momma?

View attachment 3507555

This one is hard to see, but one kept trying to peek out from behind momma's butt! :lau (I might not have snapped the picture quite quick enough!)

Was cold & breezy first thing when I went out, so they were tucked in under momma.....But, I have seen them out from under once - this morning as I was ready to head in to change for work....as soon as I came over for pictures, though, she called them to her.

There are 5. @ that look like Barred Rocks (black with yellow splotches on their head and pale yellow bellies) and three that look like chipmunks, two that are a beige-y yellow base color, one is a more creamy-yellow base color.

I was afraid to post at first, as she had hopped out of the nest and there was a hatched one that I thought was dead in the nest. I picked it up as I was cleaning out the nest, and one leg moved a tiny bit. I thought it was just me picking it up, but I just had to try to warm it up and see if it would live. thanks to @RebeccaBoyd encouraging me, I cleaned it up, warmed it up, and it started cheeping it's bloody head off once it had warmed up. I was afraid to put it with momma, in case she rejected it, but I did...tucked it up under her..that evening and it was fine yesterday morning...and last evening - though, again, aside from this morning, I haven't seen them out from under her - I had to slide my hand under her and get her to stand up to see them. However, clearly the food had been gotten to, and the water, as they were both a mess, so she has probably had them out during the warm part of the day.

I'm sure I will have more pics in the next few days as she lets them roam a bit in their Broody tractor.

Thank you again, @RebeccaBoyd ❤️❤️❤️❤️
Oh that is so wonderful! Can't wait to see them out and about!
