The dark pullet has some gorgeous penciling on her! Can we see more pics of the rest of your birds? Love seeing roos tidbit, especially when being daddy.

Thank you,the black pullet is a barnevelder and the other one is a marans, she is a new color variation but she should be pure

My main flock consists of
The boss topper

She is the hen in the left with the top on her head and beside her is her best friend aka my maran.
last summer I got two new chickens one is an old chicken who is kinda weird and also a grey chicken who lays beautiful green eggs

Pops the chicken old chicken is trying some new foods in the picture above so that’s why she is white around her mouth

“Grey” is the grey chicken in the back and in front of her is the maran.
And last we have daddy smarties who I breed together with topper(the boss chicken) to get the baby chicks

Lastly I would just like to add a picture of the eggs they give me bc they are just so beautiful

Still looks pullet. That can change, but at the moment, no comb growing like that darling tween, Rico. That natural Mohawk he's sporting!


I'm seeing 5 toes on Penne. Who's egg is she from again?

Today was a very special day for me, I got two new chickens, and drove 4 hours for them but it was all worth it
they are of course still very shy and living in our quarantine coop for a couple of weeks. The last time I bought two chickens it unfortunately wasn’t a very nice experience but these chickens already seem to be healthy and come from a good place

What beauties! Wish my Roos had some more interest in the chicks, he just ignores them.
