This is Agathae. Why is she making those noises? She does them quite frequently and she was puffing up a bit yesterday. I could not see her today because I am in Austin.

Broody Agathae, would be my guess.

Apparently it is supposed to warm up next week into the 80s, all this extreme swings in the temperatures is driving me bonkers!

But…. It will be nice for the new arrivals to get out and about and learn The Way of the Chicken.

I thought Xzit had gone broody today, but I guess I was wrong.

The mama hen and chicks are causing all sorts of mayhem today. They have several hiding places and drives me nuts!
