Look What I Found Today!

I have no idea why they switched back to blue but who am I to question.
Maybe she finally got the paint sprayer unclogged??? Hard to get color in the cement mix if the color squirter is jammed.😆

I am glad for you that the 'color is back in her life' (and yours)

Amazing how differently each of them eats! Aurora just crashed in and grabs a HUGE hunk rips it off. Hattie carefully looks it over and decides the best place to take a Lady-like bite. Sydney take a bite with a lady like countenance, but a good bite for what looks to be more delicate!🤗🤗

And NO SQUABBLING!! oh my, my chooks need to watch this video!! 🙄 But then, I guess it needs to be an all out scrum if you are to get any when you are competing with 65-70 other chooks!
I notices Sydney in particular - she looked very ladylike but ended up with a huge chunk each time!

Hold up, let me get this straight.
There are tornadoes and severe storms and you want to go ride a bike? In dangerous and bad whether to be reckless?

Sounds fun, can I join?
We don't get tornadoes here. Just strong winds, which can be up to 60mph depending. Right now they are fairly mild but picking up.
I love riding my bike.

Food: the evening feed is a great idea. But......you have to be consistent.
I am trying to train them to the tin cup like I have the older ones. We are getting there, but I think the pill bugs were just too great a temptation for Piglet.
I am probably over-reacting because it was a frustrating evening and a bit scary finding Piglet so far from home all on her own completely oblivious to it being time to go home!

Good morning all, just thought I would share some of the gardens here, it's been so wet that everything is green and growing. Personally I would like some warmth but it's not snowing so I will take it!

Lupins are doing well, they are nice but don't last long

Giant Hosta, these like shady locations and last all summer, my cat hangs out under those leaves and plays jungle kitty

I am sure my friend will have different names for the silkies when they go back to her place to live
If only we lived in the same country Foggy would be mine. I may have promised mom no more silkie roosters. I never promised no more silkie hens. Until I have a black silkie hen bebopping around again my flock will not be complete.

I went out at what has become the usual time to close it and had 2 still out and about. I never did figure out where they were. I checked in the coop as well as outside. I'm just glad they sorted themselves out.
