Pony Sunday, and I’m fresh out of ponies!
Oh, deer 🦌 what am I doing to do? View attachment 3546745
Nice little 8 point, not legal here though so he would get to grow up another year. Well not legal on WMA's on private property some idiot would harvest him. Babies like that you need to let walk. Big bodied deer too, be a really nice one when he is 3 or 4 years old.

Pooh believes she is a jungle fowl.

Meanwhile, Babs is enjoying the little clearing she made and is tending to the edges to keep them tidy.

I just love swallows. Handsome ponies as well.
Not as messy as the chickens - but I did catch the chicks picking at their poop last week which freaked me out!

I try to keep it cleaned up a few times a day under their nest now - esp since the babies poop LOTS! In the past I would put piles of shavings under the nest to catch the pooops - but the chickens just scratch it all away, I put a sand/shavings mix thin layer now just to catch moisture.

It sure is hilarious watching the hens duck when the Swallows swoop at them :gig

I think my green eggs are broken ...
The membrane might be a little wet, but this is before I peeled the membrane.

And after the membrane was peeled....
I assure you, they are green. The photo makes them look blue....View attachment 3546749
I think you need to learn to "focus" a little more on your work. I find I sometimes need to back the phone up for it to focus close in. Then I just crop the photo.

Presumably the babies poop over a relatively small area. Could you catch it in a bucket with some sand?
