I'm so happy for you. They are great chickens!

She has the one BR (she bought it because no pestered her to get BR haha), and red sex-link and a black sex-link.

They will all be showing up on my doorstep when my sister and BIL sell their house - to be truthful those hens are more my BILs chickens - you should see him hahaha - he cools up good for them all the time and really enjoys them. He come here and tells me what I need to do with my chickens . I am not cooking for my chickens!!

One of my neighbors got a new rooster, he is a mix of olive egger and black copper maran and his name if Jeff.

Jeff is very handsome!

She was keeping that from us all. Silly songs @Ponypoor shares with everyone. Expert in bunnies, we had no idea.

I’m the weird one. I have Coco on my chest while I’m texting this.
She was afraid of the explosions and gunfire outside. She’s calmed down now.

Oh poor Coco - and other animals and people with PTSD.

They should do those drone displays which are amazing!

Weird occurrence at bed time . I was putting the pups in the kennel and heard a commotion in the bantam coop next to the garage. This is Chinito's tribe. He is the frizzle bantam rooster. A different rooster and hen were putting a beat down on a third rooster. He was on the ground in the corner. They were pecking his head and neck strongly. I broke it up and brought him in our house. Not a bunch of blood but he was definitely punch drunk. Let him calm down tonight and do a thorough check tomorrow. He must have crossed the wrong bird but usually this group is very relaxed with no fighting.

Oh no poor chook.

My little Frizzle Curly has been having a tough time with others picking on her, she is ok with Mr P I saw him breeding her and she didn’t utter a peep, but she is pestered by the others - I am going to trim back her coiffe today so she can see better

It took three days for Jaffar to recover from (punch drunk) I hope he’s okay.

Oh that was very scary - poor wee fella. I am sure all of us were glad that he recovered.

Jaffar is such a lovely wee man.

Tina passed away on June 25th. Husband cried all day and I have never seen him cry since I met him. (I still haven't since I'm not home)

He was a wreck and did not want to talk to me for days, until he suspected honey had a sour crop issue.

He treated Honey with the protocol (cream for yeast infection). But the next day he confirmed Light has impacted crop. He cannot afford to lose light right now so his stress was through the roof. View attachment 3566409

Good news is that Honey is back to normal after three days treatment. Light has only improved slightly. The weird thing is that light is super energetic and full of life. She ate a bit today.

He also called vets around and was comforted to hear that he can always bring light to a vet in Raleigh (2 hours away) for having crop surgery if it comes down to that.

Im pretty sure light will be fine. I would appreciate if you can keep light in good thoughts.

Oh I miss my flock. I shouldn't be away for this long.

Your girls are all so lovely, we were all saddened to hear about Tina’s passing

For Light, tell him to massage her crop a few
times a day that should help.

I think it was RM or bgmathteach who had an impacted crop issue. They may have some suggestions.

It’s always hard being away from your pets and loved ones, I had to deal with my old horse Sally having to be put down this past winter when I was away - very upsetting.
