And now a video of hanging out with the girls this morning. And Bolt did something very stupid to the Alpha that she quickly regretted.
Ignore my camera at the beginning. The heat really gets to my old broken down phone

I have a lot of videos that I got of my chooks and guineas today.

In your camera app, click the gear in the upper left corner to open the camera settings. Then locate "Video stabilization" and turn it off. I don't know if that will do anything to help with the odd happenings at the beginning of your video.
I would also advise not using it in the heat too much or running anything intense that may overheat it. My phone overheated while it was in a holder on my bike recording video while the sun was going down. Some phones even melt inside when they overheat or the battery goes bad. Just be careful. Hope the heat goes away. (bakes in 106F weather).

I got a video of letting the guineas out. I don't think that they made much noise though. Sorry RC, I don't think that any videos I got had any guinea noise.

I can wait. Whenever they are being the most noisy when you are around you can shoot a quick video for me.
I am not going to get Guineas in the very short term.

another chick just came out so now it’s just one egg that need to hatch, I think that will happen tomorrow or on Friday yay

Wonderful! Mama is sticking to the nest? Make sure you put food and water so she doesn’t have to get off the nest and the hatchlings are eating

How are you doing with all of the smoke and haze from the fires in Canada? I live across the country in GA and it's been pretty hazy the past few days. I can see the haze across my pond. It's almost covering the trees.

Just worried for you and your horses and chooks. Want y'all to be safe ❤

The wind has been pushing it away from me, so all good here thankfully!

I am hoping the fires are put out soon.

These guys are amazing. They basically tie the broken branch to a higher branch and then de-bulk it at the Chicken Palace end before shaking it off to swing on the rope.
Then they go up the tree and tidy up the cut.
Wow!
A few highlights.

With one guy in the roof of the Chicken Palace and another guy on ropes they release the broken branch.

Then the guy starts climbing the ladder and I had to close my eyes.

And the next thing I know he is high up in the tree.

And he whips out his chainsaw which is hanging from his belt and makes a clean cut up close to the trunk.

And then casually climbs down the tree.

Wow that’s a huge limb! Glad it’s been taken care of.
