I thought the apps and the browser both have the same level of security. As far as I know the app for my camera is just a fancy video feed access point.
We had flash floods a few days ago.

Depends, with an app you can in some cases set user and admin level access. Though I suppose you could have persons accessing the browser login in with specific rights. My Dahua camera allows this.

I think it depends on the camera too. You never know.
Weren't you some kind of IT? I do lots of stuff with tech don't forget! (Including free tech support to BYCers).

All tornado warnings are over, can’t wait to see how much rain we got today, yesterday I had 3/4” in the rain gauge in just half an hour; today now it pelted down for about an hour!
