Catching up from 100 pages ago, but I want to share the biggest egg our girls ever laid!!

Wendy laid a super jumbo egg at 111 grams = 3.92 oz. 😱

Oh Wendy, no need to lay huge eggs just because you only do it once a week.

Here is a picture comparing witha nice normal egg and a nickel.View attachment 3584243
Wow that’s a goose egg! Poor Wendy 😟

Bananas once laid an egg that was nearly the size of a duck egg
Here it is compared with a normal size egg

A recent breakout of the broody virus: three pullets have gotten sick with it. Ellie, Baby, and Twilight. I tried to upload the funny video of Ellie and Baby fighting over and egg to tuck under themselves. Btw, Baby got the egg.

In the next post I will do the BFTP's.

The barn swallow I rescued from the cat. I thought it was a barn swallow, anyway. Yesterday I saw it hopping about. I am including it here because its wing is broken and it can't fly. So most likely it will die.

You do realize I know nothing about what you just said? Plain english please.
That was plain English. Pretty much, I had the (probably dumb) idea of putting a SSD, or Solid State Drive, which is a form of storage that does not spin unlike hard drives and is found in many modern computers, and I needed to install the OS the laptop came with (in this case Windows XP). A lot of older computers use what is called a "Recovery Disc" to restore the OS. I had made some (there are 9) and I had Disc 1 sitting on the desk. Josephine jumped up and landed on it leaving some nice scratches.
In Albis is currently trying to get food and tickling my leg in the process.
