yes, rolling blackouts. It was done because there were either power shortages (not enough total electricity for demand - but it was planned, so you could arrange power usage around that. OR, in some places, it was because the infrastructure/grid was not able to handle/keep up with demand - needed new and more power lines and heavier power lines and substations - they hadn't kept up with the growth in demand on the delivery side)

And they don't improve the power system either. Over here a couple years ago it got really hot and the power was out. We went out to eat Dairy Queen. They still had power.

Many companies have back-up generators. Where I work does, many restaurants do, etc.

Well, all of the others say I am the Big Rooster. So they go easier on me. Josephine goes along with what I say so she looks good. I have footage of her fence fighting. She wanted to keep that a secret. But when I caught her, I scooped her up and she was so stunned she didn't know what to think. I let her know I filmed her. She just says I am a "bad boy" while the others just say I am a decent rooster.

It was just our grid. The Dairy Queen was narrowly missed by the power outage. One of the storms we had shut the power off for us and a couple neighbors but not the next door neighbor.

It's already hot. I just got the feed unloaded and have to take a break. Mixed up some wet hi protein gamebird feed for the sick hen. Gonna give her a dose of liquid vitamins, liquid antibiotics, and some water with electrolytes.
