The vet used it once, I used it with difficulty once but actually twice - because first it was stiff then suddenly gave way - picture liquid feed spray over bathroom walls, furniture, sink, meThe syringe is not good in that case - I know I had that issue yesterday trying to give my horse some pain meds - I pulled the meds up into the syringe no problem - went to give to the horse and the plunger wouldn't depress! Then I couldn't get the meds back out of the syringe, took all my strength and a lot of swearing to get the meds out into a bowl. I then got a new syringe to use.
