Did you raise Abigal from a chick? The reason I am thinking males on both is neither have grown anything for tail feathers yet. While not the size of my for sure boys they have also had a slightly pink comb and a hint of wattles for 2 weeks now. I also saw once a few days ago when they dashed in the sunlight the hint of blue on their feathers on their backs. They do not act like boys behavior wise but, my gut is telling me they are indeed boys. I have raised enough boys to listen to my instincts. I hope I am wrong, I really do as their speckling is coming in and they are adorable.
How old are they?
Send some photos. I'll see if I can dig up Baby Abigail's photos.

Chick introduction day 2. Pretty much a carbon copy of yesterday. Calm, happy chicks and mom; wacky, skittish other hens observing from afar.

I don't really know, but probably more or less yes. It is somebody else's picture. But having worked with drip irrigation in a garden before, I think it depends on the water pressure (the size of bucket in this pic) and the drippers.

Even continuously, it can still be very slow dripping.
Ok!

9 weeks old today. It has thunderstormed and rained all day so I did not bring out my camera. These were roughly taken 2 weeks ago so 7 weeks old at the time. They have gotten bigger but their tail is exactly the same. Comb and wattles also look the same. I cannot help it, I look at them and to me I am seeing boys.

I cried myself to sleep for the first time since my dog died in April last night. Yesterday was an awful day. I miss those two sweet guinea girls already. Their poor brother is a mess. There is another male and one female in the cage. The male is higher in the pecking order. That's news to me though, because he is special needs.

It was so weird feeding my "baby" guineas without Frost jumping onto the bucket for food, and Eclipse pushing herself up against me because she was shy. I just wished that they would have made it nine teen more days. Just until the 25th of August. That is their hatchday. And my birthday. That's one reason they were so special.

When I gave their clutch mates away, I kept Frost and Eclipse because I adored them. Turns out that I just killed them. I'm just so devastated. It didn't help seeing how everyone on here (pretty much) has lost a bird ( or more :( ) JUST THIS WEEK. I am still in shock. I wish I could bring them back. I hate that they died.

I hope that everyone is doing okay. Please stay safe in this awful weather. It's too dangerous. Try to keep your chooks safe. You are more important though.

I'll try to check in tomorrow. Not even one week into school and they are already pressuring us... Have a good night.

But the poop seems to be fatter, less stringy?
Yes that bunch of poop did. Late this afternoon she pooped a fresh one, looked like the previous ones - grassy poop. We’ll see how things change, or don’t. I haven’t seen her eating grass at all since this began, she’s been going for things close to the ground. Either she’s eating grass first thing in the morning, or this is still from awhile ago.

Take pics of faces for us all, and side views.

Can’t remember, how old are they?
